A very unusual Art Deco chrome plated brass table lamp.
The chrome base sits above a rectangular polished wood plinth, with radius corners. This supports a chrome plated post, from which hangs a rectangular, four sided glass and chrome shade with a domed top.
Two adjacent sides of the shade have clear frosted glass panels. The two opposing sides have amber frosted glass panels.
The shade, which hangs 'en tremblant' can be removed and turned to display the shade in alternate ways. Under the shade is a single luminaire.
At the front of the base is located an original on/off switch.
The lamp has been re-wired with a silk braided flex.

The fitting has a beautiful aged patina, and there are areas where the chrome has been polished over the years to now reveal the brass below.
There is a small crack in one corner of the base - highlighted on one of the images by a red circle.
The original glass panels in the shade are un-damaged.
