Large industrial pendant lamp attributed to Italian designer Tito Agnoli, circa 1958.
A classic Italian style light. An interlocking pair of ovoid prismatic glass lenses is supported by an internal metal frame below an aluminium canopy, finished in an original metallic bronze lacquer.
This fitting is in a lovely original condition and benefits from a beautiful patina.
The lower lens can be removed by unscrewing the base finial to allow access to the single bulb with Eddison screw fitting. The fitting includes the original, and substantial, porcelain bulb holder.
This is the first of two identical fittings that are currently available. Each fitting is offered for sale individually.
